Because of their showy bloom clusters, they’ve become a staple plants throughout southern Florida, Texas, California, and the Hawaiian Islands, and other parts of the world although their blossoms are recognized as a symbol of the tropics. Blossoms are typically two to three inches in diameter, and sometimes have contrasting centers. The strong fragrance produced by the blooms lures in bees, butterflies. Plumeria bloom at the ends of the bare branches that look sparse and spindly without the placement of foliage.
